PURPOSE: To obtain a food package which keeps moisture from attaching onto a content and does not burst if air expands when the food package is heated by a microwave oven. CONSTITUTION: A food package 1 is heated with a content such as a hot dog, hamburger, etc., contained in it, and likely comes in contact with at least part of the content. The food package 1 is made up of an exterior film 2 that has an interior film 3 with two or more minute pores and is formed into a bag whose opening is closed by a seal 9 with a pressure relief part 10. Thereby, steam produced when the food package 1 is heated is kept from attaching on the content as the steam is accumulated between the exterior and interior films 2 and 3, so that the surface of the content remains unchanged. When the internal pressure becomes high, the inside of the food package 1 communicates with outside thorough the pressure relief part 10, so that the food package 1 is prevented from being broken. |
