DIESEL PARTICULATE FILTER

摘要

PURPOSE: To improve the yield of a filter main body by ceramic fiber material, and improve working environment, in a diesel particulate filter. CONSTITUTION: A filter main body which is arranged in the exhaust system of a diesel engine for collecting particulate included in exhaust gas and for heating and burning collected particulate, is made of a fiber laminating material in which fiber materials 4 are laminated, and a coating layer 6 is formed on the outer circumferential surface of the inorganic fiber material 7 of the base material of the fiber material 4 by coating it with a thermoplastic material. The coating layer 6 is constituted by a material which is burnt reacting to oxygen under 600 deg.C or the less.
