PURPOSE: To hardly accumulate the heat of a sheet on a sheet discharging/ loading member after an image is fixed and prevent the buckling of the sheet without reducing the cooling speed of the sheet during the continuous operation. CONSTITUTION: Multiple conveyance ribs 18 are provided in parallel with the sheet conveying direction on a sheet discharge tray 17 having a 'sheet contact region' where the tip of a recording sheet P of various kinds discharged after an image is formed is first brought into contact with the sheet discharge tray 17 and a 'continuous contact region' where the recording sheet P being discharged is continuously kept in contact with the sheet discharge tray 17. Radiating ribs 19 higher in height than the conveyance ribs 18 are provided in the 'sheet contact region' and 'continuous contact region'.
