BINDER COMPOSITION FOR NONWOVEN FABRIC AND ITS PRODUCTION

PURPOSE: To obtain the subject composition, containing a specific aqueous emulsion and a melamine compound containing methylol group and useful for floppy disk liners capable of preventing the floppy disk surfaces from flawing and abrading without dusting. CONSTITUTION: This composition contains (A) an aqueous emulsion obtained from an ethylenically unsaturated monomer having amide group [preferably a (meth)acrylamide derivative] and other ethylenically unsaturated monomers [[preferably an acrylic or a methacrylic ester derivative or (meth)acrylic acid] and (B) a melamine compound having methylol group.
