PURPOSE: To enable generating resonance on a material and to increase the accelerating effect of plastic deformation by vibrating by making vibration at very high frequency at the time of plastically working the materials. CONSTITUTION: By providing cylinders 4 for vibrating means for adding vibration to accelerate the plastic deformation of the materials separately from cylinders 3 for compressing means for loading main working force, the compressing means which require a large thrust and stroke and the vibrating means whose thrust and stroke may be smaller but which require high frequency are independently composed and vibration is directly added to the material 1 without anvils 2. The frequency at the vibration limit of the vibrating means is increased and the material is vibrated at the resonant frequency of the material or the nearer frequency to that, so plastic deformation is more accelerated and the material is uniformly deformed and the increment of the amount of compression, reduction of the force and energy which are required to work, miniaturization of the device, improvement of working accuracy, etc., are realized. |
