INTERIOR WALL PANEL AND PRODUCTION THEREOF

PURPOSE: To produce an interior wall panel within a short time by superposing a lining reinforcing material coated with a self-adhesive on a panel surface material and pressing and bonding both materials by a cold compression press without heating them. CONSTITUTION: An interior wall panel 1 is produced by superposing a lining reinforcing material 3 of which the entire surface is coated with a self-adhesive 4 by a roll coater on a panel surface material 2 and pressing both materials by a cold compression press in order to prevent that a bonding area is reduced by the uneveness of both materials. As a result, the moisture in the self-adhesive 4 is transferred to the panel surface material 2 and the lining reinforcing material 3 and the self-adhesive strength of the self-adhesive 4 is developed to complete the bonding of both of them. Since bonding strength is obtained in a sec unit, a production time can be reduced to a large extent as compared with a system performing ageing in a time unit using an adhesive and a heating device becomes unnecessary and equipment can be formed compactly.
