<p>PURPOSE: To secure sufficient strength even if the plate thickness of flanges is thin, and reduce the whole weight and facilitate fitting/removing work especially in the case of executing this flange connecting structure to fit a cover plate or the like. CONSTITUTION: In flange connecting structure, a flange to be fitted 5 is jointed to a fitting flange 3 and both flanges 3, 5 are fixed by plural bolts 15. A protruding part 6 protruding onto the opposite side to the faying surface to the fitting flange 3 is formed at the flange to be fitted 5, and plural bolt through-holes 7 are formed on the protruding part 6. A seal storage groove 8 for accommodating a seal 14 is formed at the faying surface of the flange to be fitted 5 in such a way as to be positioned on the inside of the protruding part 6.</p> |
