<p>PURPOSE: To obtain a polymer composite material containing dispersed fine particles in good productivity by making a polymer layer of a metastable structure from a regenerated polymer obtained by heat-decomposing a polymer and dispersing fine metal (oxide) particles in the polymer layer. CONSTITUTION: A stopper 8 of a glass tube 2 is opened to place a vessel 6 containing a polymeric material 5 (e.g. nylon 6) in the glass tube 2, and the glass tube 2 is evacuated with a rotary pump 14. The polymeric material 5 is. heated in heating furnace 3 and decomposed into a vapor, which is adhered to an air-cooled zone 17 of the glass tube 2 protruding from the heating furnace 3, and the regenerated polymer 19 is recovered. A metallic layer is closely adhered to the surface of a polymer layer made of the regenerated polymer 19, and the polymer layer is heated to disperse fine particles of a metal (oxide) formed from the metallic layer in the polymer layer. Thus, a polymer composite material containing dispersed fine particles can be obtained.</p> |
