PURPOSE: To reduce developing defective products through avoiding crack development by suppressing the stress developed in conducting a glass jointing between a ceramic and an object. CONSTITUTION: In conducting a glass jointing between a ceramic and an object through a fusing glass, when the difference DR between the amounts of glass melting point-raising component and glass melting point-lowering component in the reaction layer developed between the ceramic and fusing glass is greater than the difference DG between such components in the fusing glass, the differenceΔD between DR and DG is varied to alter the apparent sticking point between the ceramic and fusing glass, thus the objective glass jointing is accomplished.
