PURPOSE: To obtain a lipstick overcoat, excellent in stability with time without causing sagging in use and capable of improving the persistence of makeup effects of the lipstick by further applying onto a coated lipstick and suppressing the sticking to tableware, tobacco, etc. CONSTITUTION: This lipstick overcoat is obtained by blending (A) a particulate titanium oxide, preferably having 0.01-0.03μm particle diameter with (B) a perfluoropolyether represented by a compositional formula of formula I [R<1> to R<5> are each F, a perfluoroalkyl or an oxyperfluoroalkyl; (l), (m) and (n) are each an integer of >0 providing 500-100000 molecular weight, with the proviso that (l), (m) and (n) are not each 0]. preferably a perfluoropolyether, having 5-5000cSt viscosity and represented by formula II [(p) and (q) denote each a number providing 500-10000 molecular weight; (q/p) is 0.2-2] or formula III [(r) is 4-500]. The amounts of both the ingredients are within the ranges of 75-99.5wt.%, preferably 80-99wt.% ingredient (A) and 0.5-20wt.%, preferably 1-10wt.% ingredient (B).
