The cooker having a heat source(1), a temperature sensor(2), and a boiling detecter, is characterized in that a timer(Ta) is further included in the boiling detecter, the timer being used for counting a time required, in that if the required time is over a reference time, liquid to be heated is regarded as a boiling state, and in case of checking the (n-th) required time, when the reference time is below the (n-1) required time, a compensation is made.
