FLAME-RETARDANT POLYOLEFINIC RESIN FOAM

摘要

PURPOSE: To obtain a polyolefin resin foam which is safe and excellent in flame retardancy, does not discolor in the molding step, and is excellent in moldability and heat resistance. CONSTITUTION: This foam comprises 100 pts.wt. polyolefinic resin and 1-50 pts.wt. ethylenebispentabromodiphenyl as a flame retardant. It is desirable that the above polyolefinic resin is a mixture comprising 50-95wt.% polypropylene resin having a melt index of 0.5-20g/10min and a melting point of 130-170 deg.C and 50-5wt.% polyethylene resin having a density of 0.940g/cm<3> or below.
