<p>PURPOSE: To obtain solidified matter having high strength and high toughness by adding water to the crushed material of the concrete, or laitance, kneading both, putting the mixture into a mold, heating the mixture under compression and allowing the molding to cool, then parting the molding from the mold. CONSTITUTION: The cured bodies of the concrete (dry state) elapsing, for example, one year after production are crushed in the state of contg. the aggregate to an average grain size of 35μm. The distilled water is added at 10wt.% to the crushed matter of the cured bodies of such waste concrete and the mixture is sufficiently kneaded. The kneaded mixture is put into the stationary mold body 1 of a solidifying device A and a pressure of 20MPa is applied thereon from a vertical direction. The mixture is then heated at 120 to 300 deg.C by a heater 5 and is held for 20 minutes; thereafter, the molding is cooled with air and is released from the mold at the point of the time when <=100 deg.C is attained, by which the solidified bodies are obtd. The laitance collected from a waste water settling tank of a concrete production plant is used in place of the crushed matter of the cured bodies of the waste concrete and can be solidified under similar operating conditions or glass powder, ordinary Portland cement, blast furnace slag, etc., are added to the crushed matter of the cured bodies of the waste concrete and the crushed matter can also be solidified under the similar operating conditions.</p> |
