PURPOSE: To increase the number of repeating uses and make printed characters clear quickly so as to eliminate dubious feeling of a user by a heat reversible rewrite card which can be printed by a thermal print means and its printed characters can be deleted by heating. CONSTITUTION: After a rewrite card TC is preheated at a predetermined temperature by a preheating heater unit 3 arranged on the way to a card convey passage 1, a print record layer of the rewrite card TC is printed by opaqueness which occurs due to the heating by a thermal print unit 2 arranged at a next step card convey passage 1, so that a sum of the preheating and the heating energy at printing and heating becomes a proper printing energy of the rewrite card TC. Next, the rewrite card TC is cooled forcibly by a radiating mechanism 4 and discharged for the use of a user. |
