LUBRICANT INSULATING COATING AND SELF-LUBRICATING INSULATED WIRE

PURPOSE: To provide a lubricating insulating coating having excellent lubricity and improved storage stability and self-lubricating insulated wire using the same. CONSTITUTION: A polyethylene resin is heat-dissolved in a mixture of an inorganic compound of less than 20μm average particle size with an organic solvent to prepare a polyethylene dispersion. Further, this dispersion is formulated in a usual insulating coating to give a lubricating insulating coating. The lubricating insulating coating is applied directly or via another insulating layer to the conductor, baked to give this self-lubricating insulated wire.
