The door is made of panels with removable locking mechanisms (10-17) positioned on one side of the door, between two adjacent panels (2a, 2b) which join them together horizontally. The locking mechanism may be a pin (10) and eyelet (11) or a bolt (16, 17). The panels fit together using a mortise (M) and tenon (T) joints or a similar system. Each panel has two facing panels (3, 4) made of food grade stainless steel with a pressed, vertical U-shaped groove which forms a hand grip for opening the door. The facing sheets (3, 4) are soldered to each other along the edges of the panel so that the front edge (3a) of the front panel (2a) has a U-shaped angle section (5,5) which fits into the vertical and horizontal frame (6) to form an impervious baffle.
