The concrete floor structure comprises a lower plate (1) and an upper plate (5) in reinforced concrete. These plates are separated by a retractor (4), constituted by an insulating layer, which maintains a gap between the two plates. Each plate has a lower flexural resistance than the floor must be able to support. The two plates are connected together , in the regions where the floor is supported, by independent fastenings (6). These prevent relative sliding of the two plates so that the floor assembly has a sufficient flexure resistance. The lower plate has a thickness of the order of 10 - 20 cm and the upper plate has a thickness of the order of 5 - 15 cm. The spacing between the two plates is of the order of 3 - 15 cm. The insulating layer constitutes a water sealing layer and/or a sound insulation layer and/or a thermal insulation layer.
