Mfr. of 1,1,1-trifluoroethane (HFC 143a) jointly with 1,1-dichloro-1-fluoroethane (HCFC-141b) and/or 1 chloro-1,1-difluoroethane (HCFC-142b) using liq. phase reaction of HF with vinylidene fluoride and at least one chlorinated cpd. chosen from vinylidene chloride and 1,1,1-trichloroethane.
