Process and device are claimed for the handling of prods for firing before and after entering the kiln. During firing the prods. pass through the kiln supported in stacks (11) on chariots (A, B and C) by refractory supports (12). On leaving the kiln the stacks of fired products (11) and refractory supports are split into sub-gps. (13) by a destacker (14) and placed on an intermediate transport (15). The prods. are then removed individually from their supports by a second handling device. The supports (12) are then ready to be refilled with unfired products and stacked (18) again onto chariots (C) ready for kilning. |
