Smart card with data protection processor

摘要

The smart card contains an EEPROM data store (107) arranged in blocks of equal size. Each data store block has a password word status register, a password store and information store. The status register has a status bit set to allow the input of a password into the password store. The word is compared with the password in the CPU (103). When the two passwords match, the CPU allows access to the information store area of the block. If the passwords do not match, the block information store area cannot be accessed. the CPU accesses the data store directly or via an information protection processor. The CPU directly accesses the program memory (ROM) and the data area. However when a password is input, data is only accessed via password agreement.
