<p>A jig-type textile finishing apparatus and method, wherein the textile material (19) is fed through a heated processing bath (20) and is wound up in alternate directions while being exposed to microwave or high frequency electromagnetic waves (24) as it is being wound and/or unwound. The strength of the waves is determined according to the optimal reaction temperature so that the temperature of the assembly (5, 6) consisting of the wound textile material and the bath in which it is dipped is substantially the same as or higher than said optimal temperature.</p> |
