The output gear (9) drives an output gearbox (10) which has its main shaft located in the gearbox housing (1/2). The output gearbox is a bevel gear drive formed of a bevel wheel (11) and a bevel gear (12). The bevel wheel is arranged on an axle body (13) which is made of the same material as the housing. The axle body is arranged in the construction chamber which is provided in the housing to accommodate the output differential drive for a vehicle with front wheel drive. The axle body is supported by roller bearings (14) on one side and by a tensioning nut (16) and double roller bearing (15) on the other side.
