An adhesive resistant layer is applied by screen printing to the zones where there is to be no coloured and/or metal deposit, using a transparent medium. The embossing film is applied. The carrier film is peeled off the carrier plate, taking with it any of the transfer film which has not been bonded in place, leaving the non-stick transparent layer on the carrier.
