Support mounting for bicycle dynamo

The support mounting has a U-shaped clamp (1) for the dynamo, which is pivoted about an axis (4) via a variable spring force, in the direction of the bicycle wheel, so that the dynamo is driven by the wheel rotation via a friction wheel. Pref. the spring force is adjusted via a tensioning device (13) rotated about the axis, to tension a spring element (9) secured to the axis and the tensioning device at its opposite ends. The rotation of the tensioning device is controlled via a manual setting device (16).
