Car parking and storage method

The method involves the car to be packed being set onto a pallet etc. at the entry station. From this position, the pallet is taken up by horizontal and/or vertical conveyor and moved into one of the numerous parking lots. When required, the pallet is taken out and conveyed to an exit station. The entry and/or exit stations (4,5) comprise conveyors (8), enabling pallets to be transported in the horizontal and/or vertical conveyor (3), or the exchange them directly between the entry and exit stations. Pref. the conveyor has transport members (6) for shifting the pallet positions w.r.t. the conveyor.
