Mounting rail fixing for switch cabinet frame

The fixing is used to secure the mounting rail (10) to a frame profile (40) of the cabinet frame, which has an open recess for locating the mounting rail at its inner edge. The mounting rail has a pair of perpendicular sides with fixing bores and 2 further perpendicular edges, directed inwards to engage the side edges of the recess. At least one end of the mounting rail has a fixing block inserted axially, with at least one cut-out (19) in its outer edge adjacent the fixing block for receiving diagonally inserted clamping screws (24), cooperating with a rectangular clamp plate at the rear of the fixing block.
