Extinction intensifier for 96 cavity standard micro-titre test plate

摘要

An extinction intensifier for 96-cavity microtitre test plates is new. The intensifier comprises a plastics structure consisting of 96 cohering tubes. After pipetting and before the photometric measurement is carried out, the intensifier is inserted as a matching counterpart to reduce the vol. of the cavities so as to increase the layer depth of the dye soln., thus giving a higher extinction according to the Lambert-Beer law.
