Moisture barrier useful esp. for insulating panel joints in rooms

Insulation panels (2) in rooms, esp. swimming baths are butt joined at their end faces and the joints (4) covered with a moisture resisting layer comprising an aluminium strip (8) bonded to the panel (2) faces with a single component moisture-contg. adhesive (6) according to patent DE4330407. Bond strength of the adhesive (6) is increased by inclusion of a film-type composite layer (9) applied to the adhesive-facing side of the aluminium strip (8).
