Vacuum container for perishable goods with valve in lid

Perishable goods are kept in a vacuum vessel having a flat cover (4) with edge sealing ring and a through bore (6) which can be sealed by a valve (5). The valve has a recess (14) which receives the foot (31) of the suction connection (30), and securing the valve. The valve has a component (15), sealing it against the through bore, and a handle (16), positioned below the surface of the cover. It has a doll-shaped basic body (18) of a plastic or silicone compatible with foodstuffs, contg. a spring steel insert (19). Pref. the cover is 100-30 mm thick and the recess is 10-20 mm, pref. 15 mm deep.
