The invention relates to a belt (1) for flexible material for use with absorbent garments, wherein the belt comprises attachment means (6, 9, 10, 11, 21, 22) securely attached at one of the ends (16, 17) to hook this end to the outer surface of the belt, placed between its longitudinal edges (3, 4). The attachment means (6, 9, 10, 11, 12, 21, 22) is in the form of a flexible strip of hook elements such as used for releasable hook and loop type connectors and is used for securing that one end to an outer surface of the belt. Its greatest dimension (a) in the width direction of the belt where dimension (a) is between 25 % to 75 % of the belt width (z) of the area of the outer surface in which this end shall be attached. |
