A comparator (1) forms the difference between a control parameter (x), measured at a control path (3) in a control loop, and a demand parameter, to determine a control value for the control path. The control loop is stimulated out of a stationary state. Instead of the controller (2), a standard controller (4) is installed in the control loop, and this restores the loop to the stationary state. The input and output signals of the standard controller are measured and stored, and the parameters of the controller are computed so that it at least approximately matches the properties of the standard controller. |
