The cable has at least 2 optical fibre conductors (2), provided at one or both ends (3) with an adapter (4) for a plug connector. The adapters of the adjacent optical fibre conductors are axially offset from one another, each adapter pref. having a max. dia. of 3 mm. Pref. the adapters are axially offset from one another by at least the axial length of the adapter, with the offset adapters for a number of optical fibre conductors arranged in a row. The adapters may also be offset from one another in a direction at right angles to the cable longitudinal axis. |
