The seal (10) is extruded and fixed to the window frame (15), with elastic sealing portions (22,25) on inside and outside. An extruded shaft seal (10b) is mounted at the shaft opening (13a), and has elastic portions (22,25,27) bearing against the pane on inside and outside. The seal is in one piece, having a common basic profiled portion for frame and shaft sealing and equipped with lips (27,28). At the shaft seal (10b) it has a recess (30) for the shaft opening (13c). The basic portion (17) can have U-section mounting flanges (18,19) spaced apart, for fixing to flanges on the bodywork, and which can contain U-section metal inserts. The sealing portion bearing against the inside of the pane can contain a hollow space (23). |
