<p>PURPOSE: To provide a versatile electrical connection box that allows ready adaptation to any alteration in circuits between one vehicle type and another or between one grade and another of the same type of vehicle. CONSTITUTION: The internal circuits of an electrical connection box are divided into common circuits 1 and dedicated circuits 2. The common circuits are grouped to form a conductive layer and the dedicated circuits are also grouped to form another conductive layer. These layers are stacked inside the case of the electrical connection box. The common circuits 1 are composed of flat bus bars 10. The dedicated circuits 2 are composed of a combination of vertical bus bars, electric wires 14 and press-bonded terminals 15, a combination of vertical bus bars and press-bonded terminals, or conductive material composed of such a flat circuit as a flexible printed circuit(FPC) and a printed circuit board(PCB). The common circuits and the dedicated circuits may be formed from the same conductive material.</p> |
