BASE STATION SELECTION SYSTEM OF MOVING MACHINE IN MOBILE COMMUNICATION

PURPOSE: To maintain the quality of mobile communication by reducing the connection switches of the radio base station for a mobile station in moving as much as possible in the base station selection system of the mobile station in a cellular mobile radio communication system. CONSTITUTION: A mobile station M in moving receives the transmission radio waves from plural surrounding repeating base stations X, Y and Z. From each measured reception level, the control station of a mobile station or a mobile network knows the moving direction of the mobile station M. A base station Z which is the largest in the increase rate of the reception level is selected and is defined as the base station for repeating of the mobile station M.
