<p>PURPOSE: To improve the functions of the mouse as an input device by adding a function switch on the flank of the mouse, and then operating it with the finger (e.g. thumb) gripping the main body. CONSTITUTION: The mouse 1 is provided with three selection specification switches (click switch) 3A-3C along the border surface between the front surface 1A and top surface 1B. The. function switch 4 is newly provided on the flank 1C of this mouse 1. This function switch 4 is, for example, a slide switch and has a slidable knob 4A, and characters 'small' and 'large' showing quantities of size are provided above the switch. This knob 4A is slide and stopped at either position, information showing the quantity of size corresponding to the stop position is outputted. Therefore, the information showing the quantity of selected size corresponding to a choice is outputted by selecting 'small' or 'large' by sliding the knob 4b of the slide switch 4 with the thumb.</p> |
