PURPOSE: To provide a correction device for automatically applying raster distortion correction and convergence correction with high adjustment accuracy in a short time in a CRT system video projector. CONSTITUTION: By magnifying and image picking up a part of video images for adjustment projected on a screen 4 from the video projector 2 through a mirror 5 moved by stepping motors 6 and 7 by a camera 8, storing image picked up video signals in a frame memory 11 as digital data through an A/D conversion circuit 10 and performing an image processing in a CPU 12, a raster distortion amount and a convergence deviation amount at the adjustment points of (m)×(n) points on the screen 4 are automatically measured and correction signals are prepared. Also, the reference positions of the adjustment positions of (m)×(n) points are calculated by arithmetic operations from the positions of four corner adjustment points or screen corners.
