PURPOSE: To limit the leakage power which a radio equipment of the TDMA communication system outputs at the time of carrier off. CONSTITUTION: A switch 105 is provided in the preceding stage of a power amplifier 107 of the radio equipment; and at the time of carrier off, this switch is opened synchronously with a transmission timing signal to intercept a transmission signal. Or the reference voltage signal inputted to an automatic power control circuit 109 at the time of carrier off is controlled to set a large extent of attenuation to a variable attenuator 116 for power control, thereby minimizing the transmission level. |
