PURPOSE: To provide a stable image receiving material for transfer recording by sublimation in which an image obtained obtained by a sublimation transfer recording method on a dye image receiving layer without curing the dye image receiving layer of the material can be preferably transferred to an arbitrary material without using an adhesive sheet and no craze occurs in the image after the transfer. CONSTITUTION: An image receiving material 10 for transfer recording by sublimation comprises at least a base material 11, a release layer 12 and a dye image receiving layer 15 sequentially laminated in this order, wherein a back surface layer 16 is laminated at the opposite side to the layer 12 of the material 11, an intermediate adhesive layer 13 and a dye migration preventive layer 14 are sequentially provided in this order between the layer 12 and the layer 15, the tensile elongation of the layer 13 is 300% or more, and the layer 15 is melted or softened to exhibit adhesive properties. |
