PURPOSE: To reduce the burden on the physically handicapped and to relax congestions near ticket examination gates by conveying a ticket examining medium back to an inserting port and ejecting it when the owner of the ticket examining medium is physically handicapped. CONSTITUTION: Normal conveyance processing or reverse conveyance processing is performed for the ticket examining medium by controlling a conveying part. Namely, when information for ticket examination read by a reading part contains the information showing that the owner of this ticket examining medium is physically handicapped after series of ticket examination processing is performed, the ticket examining medium is conveyed back to an inserting port 200 and ejected. Besides, when a reverse conveyance instructing button 218 is pushed down and reverse conveyance is instructed, after series of ticket examination processing is performed, the ticket examining medium is conveyed back to the inserting port 200 and ejected. Otherwise, when a passing state detecting part detects the move of the user toward the inserting port 200 after passage inhibiting processing is performed and the ticket examining medium is conveyed to a take-out port 201 and ejected, the ticket examining medium is conveyed from the take-out port 200 to the inserting port 200 and ejected. |
