PURPOSE: To provide the navigation system with which a recommended route can be exactly calculated even when a link transmitted from a traffic information center as traffic information and a link for route calculation are not corresponded one to one. CONSTITUTION: A storage part is provided with a conversion table storing the numbers of links (internal links #1 and #2) stored in the navigation system corresponding to the link (external link $2) transmitted as the traffic information, distances x×and #n of an external link terminal from an internal link terminal, and lengths y×and #n of parts corresponding to the external link. Based on this conversion table, an arithmetic processing part calculates the recommended route after the required time for traveling through the external link transmitted as the traffic information is converted to the traveling time for traveling through the internal links. |
