PURPOSE: To obtain a polypropylene resin which, even when formed into a film at a high speed, can give a high-quality film which is only little decreased in transparency, impact resistance, etc.; and to prepare a film comprising the resin as the base. CONSTITUTION: The resin has an isotactic pentad fraction (P) of 85.0-92.0mol%, an n-heptan-insoluble content (H) of 93.0-97.0wt.%, and an MI of 1-20g/10min. It satisfies the relationships (0.750P+27.125)<H andτ<=(0.65-0.025MI) (whereinτis the relaxation time as measured at 175 deg.C and a frequency,ωo of 10<0> rad/sec). The film comprises this polypropylene resin as the base. |
