PURPOSE: To verify a change in the display mode of data by displaying a selec tion list of sizes, etc., of character data to be used, selecting and specifying a size of character data, etc., by using the list, and making a display of the value of the specified size, etc., instantaneously by the use of the selected size in color. CONSTITUTION: The current selection state of text parameters is displayed as shown in a figure 1. Then when one value in the list of character sizes is selected and specified for a change while the list of character sizes is displayed as a pull-down menu, a cursor is moved and displayed at a specific position shown in a figure 2, and then the current selection state of text parameters including the size value of varied characters is displayed as shown in a figure 3 with a font size and a color based upon the actually selected text list parameters. Canceling operation for the display contents is accepted and unless the operation is done, the size is acknowledged; when a character style change is selected and specified, a list of character styles is displayed as a pull-down menu. |
