PURPOSE: To embody the miniaturization and standardization by accomodating the driving unit of rotation of a guide roller in a bearing unit. CONSTITUTION: A guide roller 10 is formed so as to have a hollow cylindrical shape while a bearing shaft 12, inserted into the end faces of the guide roller 10 to receive the roller through bearings 16, is attached to a frame 14. An air cylinder mechanism 22, having a piston sleeve 20 slidable along the shaft around the outer peripheral part of the bearing shaft 12, is provided. A ring gear 36, rotatable through the bearing 16, is provided in the piston sleeve 20 at the end face of th guide roller 10 so as to be drivable by contact and separation. Clutch teeth 40, 42 are formed on the end face of the ring gear 36 and the guide roller 10 to form an engaging clutch mechanism 38. A driving gear 50, driven by a driving means, is engaged with the ring gear 36 through a driving means. |
