<p>PURPOSE: To input a coordinate position and read a bar code by one pen input device. CONSTITUTION: A sensor case 6 wherein a photoconductor having an optical lens 1 atop, a light emitting element and a light receiving element at the rear end side, and a coil wound around its intermediate part as a coordinate position sensor is arranged and stored is arranged in the pen consisting of an upper case 41a, a lower case 41b, and a nose cap 42 together with a substrate 46 so that it can move finely; while the optical lens 1 projecting out is pressed against a tablet, a switch 52 is closed and a voltage is induced on the tablet with a signal current supplied to the coil to input the coordinate position. To read a bar code, a switch fitted to the pen is operated to slide the optical lens 1 on the surface of the bar code paper and then necessary signal processing is performed by the substrate 46, so that bar code data are outputted to the outside.</p> |
