PURPOSE: To obtain an ink jet recording ink which can give a print excellent in water resistance, light resistance and fixability and is excellent in storage stability. CONSTITUTION: This ink comprises a pigment, a compound represented by the formula (wherein R<1> is hydrogen or an (un)substituted alkyl; R<2> is an (un) substituted alkyl; X is an anion; and (n) is an integer of 50-1000), a nonionic acrylic ester synthetic resin emulsion, and an aqueous medium for dispersing these components. |
