<p>PURPOSE: To search an underground embedded article without rotating an antenna. CONSTITUTION: Transmitting antennas 10, 11 are provided on the opposed sides of a metal plate, receiving antennas 14, 15 are provided in the state perpendicularly crossing them as first transmitting and receiving antennas. Second transmitting and receiving antennas of the same structure as that of the first antennas are provided in the state rotated at 45 deg. with the central part of the metal plate as the center. Radio waves are alternately transmitted and received by the first and second antennas, and square sums of the signals are obtained, thereby obtaining the maximum reflecting wave of the underground embedded article.</p> |
