<p>PURPOSE: To release harmful substances contained in various kinds of gases generated by various chemical experiments to the air after being made harmless by washing. CONSTITUTION: A discharge opening 23 and a suction port 24 are installed respectively in the upper part and the lower part of a cylindrically formed main body 22, and a conical body 31, the upper surface of which is formed conically, is arranged in the middle of the inside of the main body 22. A water supply pipe, one end of which is connected with a washing tank through a water feeding pump, is attached to the upper part of the conical body 31, and a jet nozzle 46 is fixed downward to the other end of the water supply pipe. A drain port connected to a drainage ditch which is installed on the periphery of the suction port is connected with the washing tank, a mist filter 49 is arranged in the upper part of the main body 22, and a damper 38 for controlling the opening of the suction port 24 in the main body 22 is attached rotatably to a holding cylinder which is installed on the lower surface of the conical body.</p> |
