PURPOSE: To enhance the detecting accuracy of a focus while an illuminating range is enlarged by adjacently arranging a peripheral light projection system in a vertical direction to a screen with respect to a central light projection system and utilizing patterns projected by two light projection systems. CONSTITUTION: One element of the central light projection system 100 is constituted of a light emitter 4A, a projection pattern 3A, a central area light projection lens 4B, a panel 2A and the like. One element of the peripheral light projection system 200 is constituted of a light emitter 4B, a projection pattern 35, a peripheral area light projection lens 1B, a cylindrical lens 2A and the like. Besides, the projection system 200 is adjacently arranged in the vertical direction to the screen with respect to the projection system 100. Then, the pattern of the pattern 3A is projected in the central area of an object by the projection system 100 and the pattern of the pattern 3B is separately projected in the left and the right peripheral areas within the screen on the object side by the projection system 200. |
