PURPOSE: To provide a driving apparatus, which can accelerate the starting speed of a driven body and can accelerate the driving speed itself. CONSTITUTION: A driven body 6 is driven in one direction by the energizing force of an energizing means. An ultrasonic motor charges the driven body 6 against the energizing force of the energizing means. Clutch means 9, 10 and 6c connect and disconnect the output of a rotor 12b of the ultrasonic motor to and from the driven body. These parts are provided. The clutch means link the rotor 12b to the driven body 6 by the forward rotation of the rotor 12b, which is the charging direction of the driven body 6, and release the linking with the driven body 6 by the reverse rotation of the rotor 12b. |
